Welcome to the website of the Aragon Singers of Buckden.

We are a mixed choir of about 40 voices, based in Buckden, near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire.  Our name comes from Queen Katherine of Aragon, who was sent to live at Buckden Palace after her divorce from King Henry VIII in 1533; in 1534, she moved to nearby Kimbolton Castle, where she died in 1536.  The choir was formed 450 years later, in September 1986, so we have now passed our 30th birthday.

Rehearsals take place in Buckden on Monday evenings.  We have a varied repertoire and perform regularly at local venues, usually to help raise money for various charities.  Groups from the choir also sometimes sing at weddings.

Please check our diary of forthcoming concerts, and come and hear us if you are in the area.
